What is your henna paste made of?

We use Rajasthani Henna Powder made of crushed henna (lawsonia inermis) leaves, lavender or eucalyptus oils, water, lemon, and sugar.

What if I have sensitive skin?

If you have sensitive skin that is totally okay. We use lavender oil which is safe to use on sensitive skin and for pregnancy henna as well! 

Is the process painful compared to a real tattoo?

Nope! It is completely painless. Henna art is used with paste that is released with a cone that looks like a mini piping bag!

What is black henna?

There is no such thing as black henna. Black henna is a chemically processed ink that has paraphenylenediamine (PPD), hair dye and other unknown ingredients that are harmful to the skin.  

This can cause blistering, redness and skin peeling. In addition to this, the odor of this "henna" also has a gassy and petrol-like smell. 

What does natural henna look like?

Natural henna is a green brown color, after it dries it turns into a darker brown. It also smells incredible with the essentials that we add!
